Novelty – fishing at Lipno in the area of the Hotel Racek ***
We are offering you arrangement of complex service for fisherman, fishing travel, non fishers, including of boarding and lodging in a holiday house (4 rooms available) in the village Černá v Pošumaví by Lipno dam (distance from the water about 32,81yd.).
Lake:
The Lipno Lake, 4870 ha, average deepness about 7,66 yd., elevation 792,87 yd. above sea level is the paradise for fishing. The dam has never been completely let out since it has been build at the end of the 50s so the fish grow up to giant sizes. The Lipno Lake is rich cache of different types of fish (carp, zander, pike, trout, freshwater eel, bass and also catfish).
Types of fish:
The Lipno fish is zander, famous are pikes (54,33 inches, weigh 55,11lb) then carp which you can find in the inlet (quarry places in the inlet Račina and Valtrov, will be regularly fed). There are going to be carp about 35,43 inches if regularly fed.
We will be happy to show and recommend you the quarry places by the isle Tajvan distance from the area of our hotel about 546,81 yd. It is getting popular to fish for catfish we are able to show you quarry places too. To fish at Lipno Like is possible all year round (fishing of predatory fish is limitation from 16th June to 31st December. Variety of fishing districts and types of fish provide you wide possibilities of choice of recreative as well as sport fishing.

- Possibility of buying fishing equipment and baits at fishing shop about 2km from the hotel (we will ensure trap fish)
- We provide permits for fishing, for members of fishing union and guests, but also for sport fisherman and non-fisherman
